Darcy seemed fine.

Kaze was relieved.

Deborah sat across from Darcy and fiddled with the dagger in hand. She wanted Kaze to be there when she destroyed Darcy’s face.

Hearing the footsteps in the back, she cocked her head back. “Mr. Skyfort, what’s the commotion out there… Kaze?

“H-How did you get in?”

Deborah’s jaw dropped.

Kaze replied curtly, “I killed all of them to get here.”

“Stop bluffing.”

Deborah shuddered, skeptical that Kaze killed the mercenaries.

However, Kaze gave off a dangerous vibe.

Kaze drew close and said indifferently, “Try me. You’ll know whether I’m bluffing.”

“What are you doing? Don’t get any closer.”

Thrown into a panic, Deborah got up and ran to Darcy. She swung her dagger and said sternly, “Don’t come any closer, or I’ll slice your wife’s face.”

“Slash.”

A glint of metal pierced Deborah’s palm, sending blood splattering. Deborah rammed into the wall behind her, her dagger clattering to the floor with a clang.
